Charlottetown, PE – The Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences (CASTL) is excited to announce the launch of a new course, "Essentials of Viral Safety and Clearance," offered in partnership with Asahi KASEI BIOPROCESS (AKB). Scheduled for November 8, 2024, at the CASTL Biomanufacturing Training Facility in Montreal, QC, this course offers a comprehensive exploration of viral contamination risks and the methodologies essential for maintaining the safety and efficacy of biopharmaceuticals.

Participants will benefit from practical, hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and techniques under the expert guidance of AKB Senior Laboratory Manager, Don Gibbs.

Viral safety is critical in biopharmaceutical production. Our partnership with global leader Asahi KASEI BIOPROCESS enables us to deliver a course that tackles the industry’s real-world challenges.
